Senator Karnes moved to amend the bill on page 2, after line 31, by inserting two new subsections, designated (f) and (g), to read as follows:

(f) Notwithstanding the provisions of any other subsection of this article, it shall be a misdemeanor for any person, as part of an organized activity or event where a person younger than 18 years of age is known to be present, to intentionally display or expose his or her sex organs or anus, or to otherwise intentionally engage in a display of sexually explicit conduct. Upon conviction thereof a person shall be fined not more than $500 and confined in jail not more than 60 days, or both fined and confined.

(g) As used in this section, “sexually explicit conduct” means an unambiguous sexual act, actual or simulated, between persons of the same or opposite sex, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal sexual intercourse, sodomy, oral copulation of any kind, sexual bestiality, masturbation, excretory functions, and the lewd and lascivious exhibition of simulated sexual intercourse where the actual or simulated genitals, breast, or pubic area of any person is publicly exhibited.
